Game Synopsis

Game Overview

You play the game as a young doctor who has just been thrown in to a horrific mass murder that is unraveling within the very walls of his own town. The episode kicks off at sunset and is set over the period of a day, heavy fog and dimly lit lighting will play a large role in creating the cold, stark and disillusioned atmosphere. It is set within current times but due to the history of the town, the architecture is of an older victorian style (in general). The lack of electricity (as the mains supplies have been cut) cause many problems for the player, but also outsiders have no contact with the village, the single bridge leading in to the village has also been destroyed preventing outside help.

He is emotionally compelled from the murder of his own sister, and sets out to find out what and how the people within the town are slowly being picked off one by one.

The player will be involved in a series of chases, and will encounter a lot of activity within their peripheral vision which will dissappear once they try to get a closer look. He studies the victims bodies for clues and also follows trails and possible leads within the town to try to find the source of the murders. Its almost a sandbox style game that you can solve different pieces of the puzzle in any order, but you will always be brought to the main events within the story. It is up to the player to prevent the horror unfolding anymore.

The game is a first person escape/explore/mystery and is targetted towards 18 - 25 year olds who enjoy trying to solve large scale problems and like action and intense build-up. It is a single player game as the story line focuses on one character.
